About

We invest in innovators that are bringing emerging healthcare technology to the forefront, putting access and control over medical care into the hands of the patient. Three Leaf Ventures was founded with this vision within the Broe Family of companies, based in Denver, Colorado.

Philosophy

We firmly believe that our lives will continue to benefit from the advance of wireless, mobile and communication technology. This potential has yet to be realized, especially as it relates to our health and well-being. The healthcare landscape requires a fundamental change to address the $3 trillion dollars spent annually in the United States. Combined with a shift in how we think about our health, technological advances will pave the way for a transformation of the current system.
Three Leaf Ventures has a dedicated focus to invest with passionate individuals that are aligned with driving this change. Our thesis incorporates three prominent themes:

  • Involving an increasingly pro-active, educated and invested consumer of healthcare
  • Leveraging significant advances and penetration of wireless and mobile communication technology
  • Pursuing a shift to individualized healthcare from population based medicine

The Broe Group

pb1

Pat Broe founded his namesake company, The Broe Group, in 1972 as a Denver-based real estate firm. Beginning with small residential and commercial rehabilitations, he soon began to accumulate a portfolio of properties. He began trading land, assembling development sites and repositioning commercial properties, primarily in the central business district of Denver. These activities provided the base from which The Broe Group grew and diversified into its present form. Over the course of four decades, Mr. Broe has built a diversified private equity investment enterprise with a multi-billion dollar asset base with investments spanning a wide range of industries, including commercial and residential real estate, medical office buildings and assisted living communities, diverse transportation-based companies, medical devices, agricultural investments as well as energy ventures such as oil and gas exploration and production and coal mining.
